The Future of Learning with Germanna College
Germanna is collaborating with the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) to offer free workshops across the Commonwealth that advance the use of Generative AI in K-12 classrooms. Participants will explore how to revolutionize the classroom and empower students with cutting-edge AI technology.

Mr. MJ Rodney currently serves as the Principal of Providence Middle School in Chesterfield County, Virginia. He has previously served as an associate and assistant principal, SOL coach, social studies, and CTE teacher. MJ is in his third year as a student in VCU's Doctorate of Educational Leadership program. When not supporting his school or writing a dissertation, MJ enjoys volunteering at the YMCA as a youth coach and at his church in various education and youth ministry roles.

On March 13, 2020, our school in Woodbridge, Virginia, went through the day at less than half the student capacity of an average school day. The night before, an official announcement had been made informing parents that if they chose to keep their students home that day because of the outbreak of Covid-19, it would be an excused absence.
In lieu of the usual on-site National Library Legislative Day, ALA has now planned a virtual National Library Legislative Week. Anyone may participate in advocacy training and activities. See the full schedule of events and more information at the National Library Legislative Day page.
